Terms of service

Last updated: 14 October 2026

These terms apply to Magenta, a personal assistant available as a Telegram bot and operated by Yann Jaffrennou (“I”, “me”). By using Magenta you agree to them. Contact: cloud@yannjaffrennou.com.

What Magenta is

Magenta is a private, non-commercial tool built for its owner's personal use. People can only use it if the owner adds them as contacts, and access can be granted or removed at any time without notice. There is no fee and no account to create.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Magenta to break the law, to harass anyone, to try to access information you're not allowed to see, or to disrupt or probe the service. Access is removed for anyone who does.

AI-generated answers

Magenta's replies are generated by an AI model and can be incomplete or wrong. Don't rely on them for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions, and check anything important, such as dates and times, before acting on it.

Connected accounts

If you connect a Google account, you authorise Magenta to access it within the permissions you granted and as described in the privacy policy. You can revoke that access at any time from your Google Account permissions.

Availability and changes

Magenta is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranty. It can change, pause or stop at any time.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for indirect damages, or for losses resulting from the use of Magenta, its unavailability, or reliance on its answers. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated; the date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use Magenta after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law.
